David Woodhead

David is a chartered civil engineer with a breadth of practical offshore wind experience, gained by moving between different project management roles, both in consultancy and in utility project development teams. David has a broad understanding of operational challenges and the innovations which are deployed to overcome them, with a particular focus on:

• the design, fabrication and operational performance of offshore foundations,
• condition monitoring systems, and digital twins, for economic asset life extension,
• the innovation process, wind in the wider energy system and green hydrogen production.
