We offer

Real impact at the cutting edge of energy: We are committed to accelerating the transition to a net-zero energy system. We work with some of the most influential players in the sector to achieve this and regularly find ourselves working on projects that push the technical and commercial boundaries of clean energy. You’ll be at the heart of this: providing the analysis and judgement which inform our clients’ major investment and policy decisions.

Exposure to a wide range of projects and clients: As a thriving consultancy business Everoze works for clients ranging from multinational banks to community energy groups. You will be exposed to the wide range of projects financed and developed by these clients, taking in different approaches to challenges, risks, and solutions at each turn.

A fast-growth environment: We set up shop with 6 partners in September 2015. Now we’re 75 strong and counting, based across the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland and Germany. We see an opportunity to do things differently – and our clients are liking it. We’re hungry to make a positive impact on the energy sector, and that means growth.

The flattest of flat organisations: Let’s be upfront – if you thrive on hierarchy and structure, Everoze isn’t the company for you. But if you are looking for a work environment where the strength of your ideas are valued as much as your years of experience, then welcome home. You’ll be given the freedom and autonomy to shape your own career; it’s not for everyone, and with freedom comes responsibility – but we sure enjoy the buzz of owning our own careers.

The team works: Goodbye departmental silos! We get our offshore wind experts working on energy storage, our UK team working on French projects, and vice versa, our onshore wind specialists branching into solar. It keeps things fresh for us and more importantly, spurs the creative cross-fertilisation of ideas which helps us deliver unique insights and value to our clients.

Top-notch mentorship: Most of us at Everoze have been in the renewables and energy business for well over a decade, and some of us have previously led large teams and business units. We’d love to share some of this experience, through assigning you an internal mentor to help guide your professional development. And we hope that you can return the favour by offering some feedback for us too, because whether you’ve got 3 months experience, or 30 years, we’ve all got more to learn.

No utilisation targets: Yes, that’s right! We don’t report on or check utilisation in terms of assessing team or individual performance but work on trust within the team. We find that happy and motivated staff are able to find the right balance between commercial work, business development and administration.

Flexibility: We offer flexible working hours, part-time and remote working for those that want it and family-friendly working-time arrangements.

We embrace diversity and equal opportunities: At Everoze we want you to bring your ‘whole-self’ to work.

How you will make an impact

Your work will be mainly technical and commercial consultancy services to solar project developers, lenders or operators in France, UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and other markets. Specific activities will include:

Carrying out energy production assessments either using state-of-the-art simulation tools or methods based on the analysis of historical data. This will imply assessing data quality, data processing, carrying out statistical and long-term analysis, site modelling based on design information along with producing losses estimate and an uncertainty analysis.

Contributing to technical and commercial due diligence undertaken as part financial transactions (financing, refinancing, M&A). This will include the assessment of risks which could result in a deviation from the project or portfolio financial model, particularly lower energy yield, delays to the project timeline, higher Capex and Opex, and then to propose relevant mitigation measures. Assessed areas would typically cover: land securement, administrative authorisations, environmental constraints, project design, tariff scheme, grid connection, construction and operation contracts, project timeline…

Attend and lead site inspections of PV plants as part of either the construction monitoring, the acceptance process and/or technical audits. These inspections will induce travelling, mostly in France but also possibly in UK, Spain or any other market where Everoze might be active.

Managing several projects using Everoze internal and external resources.

Reviewing project O&M reports and assess operation data to extract information on the performance and operational issues of the project, quantifying risks and suggesting mitigation measures.

Supporting the delivery of strategic work. In particular strategic work related to CRE tenders, PV market evolution and trends in France, market integration and market share of major industry players…

Actively taking part in business development. This implies for the most part producing client proposals, taking part in business events and potentially presenting at webinars and/or conferences.

Everoze works across multiple technologies and there is potential to specialise in your areas of interest or to broaden expertise into different technologies: we encourage you to take ownership of your career.
