Everoze acts as Lender’s Technical adviser to HSH Nordbank AG on a 60MW wind farm project
May 2018
Everoze was delighted to advise HSH Nordbank on the technical side of the debt financing of the 60MW “Le Douiche” wind farm, a ready-to-build project developed by Nordex and recently acquired by RIVE Private Investment and Mirova. The project will feature 20 Nordex N117/3000 turbines. Installation of the turbines is scheduled for this summer with commissioning scheduled for around the end of 2018. The turbines will be serviced by the Nordex under a premium service agreement over a period of 20 years.
Everoze’s scope of work included technical review of energy yield assessment, consenting, land securement, grid, tariff, technology and design, structural and environmental suitability, construction and operation contracts and construction program. Everoze employed its industry leading Due Diligence on Demand process, ensuring a robust risk assessment, smooth communication and continuous identification of open or risk items. Through the process, efficient mitigation measures were discussed and agreed between the parties, allowing the technical risk profile of the projects to reach an acceptable level for HSH.
Olena Reznik, Investment Manager at Mirova mentioned: “We were happy working together with Everoze on this transaction and for the fourth time within last six months. Everoze has once again contributed to a smooth process through its proactive approach and straight to the point conclusions.”
Everoze’s work has been led by French partner Arnaud Thome supported by a broader project team including Alexander Klein, Brieuc Pey and Justine Malafosse.
