Everoze was delighted to advise NORD/LB on the technical side for the debt financing of an 18MW wind farm located in Ille et Vilaine department in France. The project developed by VSB consists of six Nordex N117 3MW wind turbines.
Everoze’s scope of work included technical review of energy yield assessment, consenting, land securement, grid, tariff, technology and design, structural and environmental suitability, construction and operation contracts, construction program and financial model inputs. Everoze employed its industry leading Due Diligence on Demand process, ensuring a robust risk assessment, smooth communication and continuous identification of open or risk items. Through the process, efficient mitigation measures were discussed and agreed between the parties, allowing the technical risk profile of the projects to reach an acceptable level.
NORD/LB Senior Director Pedro Capote indicates: “Everoze fielded an experienced team provided a robust, thorough yet pragmatic approach to the technical due diligence”.
Simon Duhamel VSB CFO and transaction manager adds : “It was a pleasure to work with Everoze on this transaction. Everoze demonstrated a high level of knowledge and reactivity. Everoze was always open to discussion aiming for the transaction to progress”.
While the project closing occurred in August 2017, project commissioning is scheduled for mid-2018. During this period, Everoze will support the lender with construction monitoring work including desktop review, site visits and wind turbine inspections at take-over.
Everoze’s work has been led by French partner Brieuc Pey supported by a broader project team including Arnaud Thomé and Alexander Klein.
