Everoze supports NTR in financing of Irish solar PV and storage portfolio
Everoze was pleased to act as technical advisor to NTR in the successful financing of its Monvallet solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio in County Louth, Ireland, including an initial €65 million debt package secured from Rabobank and Siemens Financial Services via Siemens Bank. The initial financing covers the first of the two solar projects in the portfolio.
Everoze’s scope of work included detailed technical due diligence including energy yield modelling, design and technology selection, review of project contracts and development rights covering grid, land and planning.
The project benefits from a CfD under Ireland’s RESS 2 scheme, and marks the third portfolio of RESS-2 assets for which Everoze has acted as lender’s technical advisor.
Nick Forster, Head of Structured Finance at NTR commented:
‘Everoze’s technical and commercial insights were of great value and the company played a pivotal role in the delivery of the financing. Everoze´s ability to navigate complex project details and present them clearly to the lenders gave confidence to the relevant stakeholders throughout the process. Their responsiveness and the depth of expertise of similar transactions in Ireland were also very much appreciated. This contributed significantly to achieving an efficient close.’
