Due diligence to support the acquisition of a majority stake in European Solar Agri-PV development platform and operational projects

Everoze advised Cube Green Energy in the acquisition process for a pipeline of operational, development and in-construction solar Agri-PV projects in Germany and Poland totalling approx. 5,130 MWp. The projects represent the largest development pipeline specifically for Agri-PV projects. The portfolio was developed by German company Sunfarming, who developed their proprietary solar Agri-PV technology in different variants, which were analysed in detail by Everoze.

Following completion of the due diligence, the acquisition of a majority stake in the company was successfully performed.

Everoze carried out the technical due diligence to support the acquisition. The due diligence scope of work consisted of corporate due diligence with HQ visit and staff interviews, site visits to selected operational projects and the technology demonstration and R&D centre, review of technical documentation relating to the project development status, design and technology selection, alongside long-term energy production assessment and ad-hoc support.
