Technical Advisor to Subsea Micropile’s corporate fundraise
Published March 2025
Everoze was excited to see Subsea Micropiles closing funding for €11m from Scottish National Investment Bank and Marubeni-Itochu Steel. The floating offshore wind business has enormous global potential but it has a long way to go in unlocking that potential. Technical innovations, like micropile anchors, are going to be key to opening that door.
Paul Barry, CFO at Subsea Micropiles commented “We really valued the input and scrutiny that the excellent Everoze team brought – providing the right mix of technical knowledge, commercial capability and industry knowledge throughout the diligence process.”
At Everoze, our experienced team worked with Subsea Micropiles over the last year as they progressed their anchor technology through testing and qualification:
- Bringing a perspective of the market to complement that of the Subsea Micropiles sales team
- Completing independent due diligence on Subsea Micropiles, their anchor design and installation approach
- Scrutinising their business case
Our efforts were well supported by the openness and professionalism of the Subsea Micropiles team. We look forward to watching their progress in delivering new solutions to the global market for foundations and anchors.
