Technical audit and construction monitoring of the Himalaya solar portfolio – Akuo

Everoze supported Akuo and its banking partners through comprehensive technical due diligence and construction monitoring for the Himalaya portfolio projects. The assignment covered:
- Analysis of technical and contractual risks prior to financing
- Review of yield studies, design and EPC/O&M contracts
- Construction monitoring, including site visits and technical validation of drawdowns
The Himalaya solar portfolio, developed by Akuo Energy, benefits from feed-in tariffs awarded during the Portuguese government’s 2019 solar tender.
It totals approximately 450 MWp spread across several projects. It totals approximately 450 MWp spread across several projects The first project, Santas 180 MWp, was commissioned in June 2024 in the municipalities of Montforte & Borba. Its 45MWp extension is currently under construction.
The second project, Margalha (147 MWp), is currently nearing completion in the same region, in Gavião.
