CIP acquisition of Ørsted’s European onshore business

Published February 2026

Everoze has advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) on its acquisition of Ørsted’s European onshore business with over 800 MW in operation and under construction plus a multi-gigawatt development pipeline across Ireland, the UK, Germany and Spain.

We provided technical advisory services to CIP which included due diligence of solar and wind assets (at various stages of development and operation) across Ireland, the UK, Germany and Spain. In addition to the technical scope, Everoze assisted with ESG DD and SFDR assessment to support the CIP team and investment process. Everoze and its Partner BrightWind also carried out independent energy assessments as part of this project.

We are delighted for the CIP team and we are very proud to have supported them.

Everoze’s work was led by Graeme Wilson, Nick Baldock, Adam Sharpe, Przemek Marek and Jo Holt, with support from a much wider team covering all technologies and geographies.
