Everoze advices TRIG on the acquisition of a 36MW wind Farm

June 2019

Everoze was delighted to advise The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (TRIG) on the technical side of this French wind farm acquisition. The 36MW Epine Marie Madeleine wind project (12 Nordex N117 wind turbines) has been developed and built by Nordex and TTR.

Alexis Sarton, associate at TRIG commented: ”We were once again grateful to Everoze for providing technical advisor support to TRIG in the acquisition of the wind farm asset and its debt refinancing. Their knowledge and thorough assessment ensured a smooth process for all the parties involved in the transaction.”

Everoze employed its industry leading Due Diligence on Demand process, ensuring a robust risk assessment, smooth communication and continuous identification of open or risk items.

Susanne Fontanaud, Nordex transaction manager added: “We were very happy to work with Everoze as the technical advisor for our customer in the transaction process for the Epine Marie Madeleine project. Everoze proves to be a pragmatic counterparty with sound technical knowledge. Their hands-on mentality facilitates communication and allows finding solutions even in difficult negotiations.”

The project is operational since the end of 2018. Everoze’s scope of work included technical review of consenting, land securement, grid, tariff, technology and design, structural and environmental suitability, construction and operation contracts, construction program, power purchase agreement and financial model inputs. As the wind farm was already operational at the time of its acquisition, Everoze scope of work also included turbines inspections, review of take-over documentation and of the wind farm performance during the first months of production.

Everoze’s work was led by French partner Arnaud Thome supported by a broader project team including Justine Malafosse, Brieuc Pey, Alexander Klein and Clément Hochart.
