Richard Bridgeman
Richard is currently a energy consultant with the Everoze team focusing on Battery Storage technologies. Before joining Everoze, he was a lead specialist for electrotechnical systems with Lloyd’s Register Maritime, working with clients to help them meet their regulatory obligations for new and existing assets. This included HV & LV electrical power generation and distribution systems; battery energy storage installations; hazardous areas’ equipment and installations; propulsion systems; fire & gas detection and suppression systems; autonomous craft control systems including functional safety and software assurance activities; and lifting equipment. He also researched and developed technical requirements needed for the safe adoption of new technologies such as autonomous craft and Li-ion batteries and advised clients on how to achieve compliance.
Richard is a member of the UK National Committee for Electrical installations of ships and of mobile and fixed offshore units (IEC 60092 and IEC 61892 series).
