Everoze supports the design of Propel Ireland, Ireland’s offshore wind centre of excellence
Enterprise Ireland has launched Propel Ireland, a new initiative to accelerate innovation, collaboration and supply chain development across Ireland’s offshore wind sector as part of the Government’s Powering Prosperity – Offshore Wind Industrial Strategy.
Everoze supported Enterprise Ireland in scoping and designing the Offshore Wind Centre of Excellence that informed Propel Ireland. Working with partners ORE Catapult, Scotia Supply Chain and Innovative Climate Solutions, Everoze delivered a feasibility study and strategic roadmap for the centre.
The work brought together stakeholders from government, industry and research to shape a clear organisational model and strategic direction. Through structured stakeholder engagement, ecosystem mapping and international benchmarking, the team developed recommendations covering governance, research priorities and a phased implementation approach.
It is encouraging to see the concept now moving forward through the launch of Propel Ireland. We are particularly pleased to see the programme being championed by Georgina Foley and the Enterprise Ireland offshore wind team, who are driving the initiative forward to support innovation and supply chain development across the sector.
“The feasibility study carried out by Everoze has played a pivotal role in shaping the direction Propel Ireland is now taking to help Irish companies collaborate, innovate, and scale in the offshore wind sector. Working alongside our industry and research partners, Propel Ireland is committed to ensuring that Ireland is strongly positioned to seize the opportunities emerging in offshore wind, both at home and internationally. We are grateful to David Thomason and the Everoze team for their valuable guidance as we embark on this exciting journey.”
