Everoze launches new hydrogen advisory hub in Glasgow

Published 12th October 2021

Leading the hydrogen team will be Ewan Murray, who brings over 10 years specialist hydrogen storage, flexibility and power generation knowledge. He has a passion for delivering a Net Zero future, and will be focused on growing the low carbon hydrogen business within Everoze across due diligence, project support and strategic advice service lines.

We believe hydrogen can play a crucial role in our clients Net Zero strategies. We see low carbon Hydrogen as a highly versatile ‘silver bullet’ for hard to decarbonise sectors, offering an important contribution to our Net Zero future. However, the terminology, green credentials and ‘whole systems’ approach can be difficult to navigate. Hydrogen has been compared to the ‘Swiss army knife of energy solutions’, but yet, as we have all experienced, the Swiss army knife is often the “jack of all trades, master of none”.

With the rapid evolution of hydrogen sector, we believe access to experienced consultants with a deep understanding of the current market, regulatory developments and technology trends is fundamental to securing a place in the nascent ‘green’ hydrogen industry. Increasingly we are seeing opportunities for co-located hydrogen generation projects, ‘Power to X’ flexibility projects and offshore H2 opportunities. Our service offering integrates a wealth of existing knowledge in the power flexibility, energy storage and renewables sectors – a truly multi-disciplinary approach.

Ewan is based in Everoze’s new Glasgow office, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of experts from solar, wind, energy storage and power flexibility sectors.
